Tanks are slow, but extremely deadly. Airplanes can perform incredible pirouettes in the air, but any good sniper can shoot them down - fragile. And the airships - these giants instill fear in the foot soldiers with their scale. Also, do not forget about the horsemen - in the First World War, a horse could well jump into the trenches to the gaping soldiers, the owner of which would immediately chop those around with a saber.
