Top 10 Cheapest Gaming Laptops
10 Lenovo Ideapad Gaming L340-15
Country: China
Average price: 59990 rub.
Rating (2022): 4.7
An inexpensive entry-level gaming laptop from a Chinese manufacturer that has consistently improved the quality of its products, successfully outperforming some Western competitors. It is assembled on the basis of a bunch of Intel Core i5 9300H CPUs with 4 cores of 2.4 GHz each and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU equipped with 3 GB of video memory. The Chinese did not stint on RAM either, sending 8 GB of DDR4 RAM with a frequency of 2400 MHz. Complementing the picture is a 256 GB SSD drive and a powerful battery with a claimed autonomy of up to 9 hours. However, in the game mode, the battery will last significantly less.
The key problem with this cheap model is that there is only one RAM slot on the motherboard, so the upper limit of RAM is limited to 16 GB. In addition, only two USB ports are provided on the case, which complicates the connection of gaming peripherals. Well, the display is a little frustrating, which clearly lacks the brightness of the backlight and the clarity of color reproduction.
9 DELL G3 15 3590
Country: USA (made in China)
Average price: 58650 rub.
Rating (2022): 4.6
The most inexpensive gaming laptop from a well-known American manufacturer, supplied with Linux pre-installed and a set of two drives with a total capacity of 1256 GB: a 256 GB SSD and a 1 TB HDD. This budget model is based on a 4-core Intel Core i5 9300H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card, which received its own 3 GB of memory. In addition, the stylish gaming case hides 8GB of DDR4 RAM, expandable up to 32GB, and a 51Wh battery with up to 4 hours of battery life.
Among the shortcomings in the reviews, a complaint often pops up about the rapid heating under load, and not only the CPU suffers, but also the SSD drive. Also, buyers complain about the not the best image of the 15.6-inch IPS display and poor case ergonomics, which complicates the process of replacing components during an upgrade. On the other hand, all this for the most part is more than offset by high performance in games.
8 HP Pavilion 15-ec1009ur
Country: USA (made in China)
Average price: 55990 rub.
Rating (2022): 4.6
An inexpensive HP laptop for gamers representing the Pavilion line. Built on the basis of a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor with a clock frequency of 3.0 GHz. Paired with the CPU is a discrete graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 with 3 GB of its own memory in addition to 8 GB of RAM on two slats with the possibility of growth up to 32 GB. Another important feature of the laptop is two drives at once: a 128 GB SSD for installing the OS and a 1 TB HDD for everything else, including, of course, games.
Otherwise, this is a classic budget device with a simple 15.6-inch IPS display that has received a standard FullHD resolution, anti-reflective coating and good color reproduction with a slight lack of backlight brightness. We also note the low weight of the model - only 1.98 kg, which can be considered the best indicator in the segment of cheap gaming laptops. The most important drawback is the stripped down version of the BIOS, which limits the ability to overclock the hardware.
7 Acer Aspire 7 A715-41G-R75P
Country: Taiwan (made in China)
Average price: 54700 rub.
Rating (2022): 4.7
A fairly cheap gaming laptop from Acer with decent hardware on board: a 4-core AMD Ryzen 5 3550H CPU, a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics card with 4 GB of GDDR6 memory, plus 8 GB of DDR4 RAM in two slots and a silent SSD drive of 256 GB. The output is a productive, but at the same time quite a budget system, with which any top game of recent years will start almost at maximum speed.
The screen here is standard for its class: an IPS-matrix with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9 and a diagonal of 15.6 inches. As for user reviews, the good build quality, the strength of the plastic case and the optimal price for the version with the GTX 1650 Ti GPU stand out as the pluses of the model. Among the shortcomings, the inconvenience of the upgrade, the difficulty in finding and updating drivers, and the imperfect color reproduction of the display are noted.
6 Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54-50YV
Country: Taiwan (made in China)
Average price: 54000 rub.
Rating (2022): 4.7
An inexpensive Acer gaming laptop from the Nitro line, assembled on the basis of an Intel Core i5 8300H CPU with 4 cores operating at a frequency of 2.3 GHz. Paired with the processor is a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card, supplemented with 3 GB of video memory, so that all 8 GB of RAM “plow” for the needs of the OS and the running game. Despite the budgetary status of the model, it is distinguished by the high quality of the components, which guarantees a long service life with a minimum likelihood of contacting a service.
In addition, the cheap gaming model received an appropriate display: 15.6-inch diagonal, FullHD resolution, IPS matrix and a gaming refresh rate of 144 Hz. As a nice bonus, there is a 512 GB SSD drive, which is very rare in this price range. But that's not all: Nitro 5 AN515-54-50YV has the best battery in the segment, capable of providing up to 8 hours of battery life. There is also a clear drawback - a fragile and at the same time very easily soiled plastic case.
5 HP Pavilion 15-dk0083ur
Country: USA (made in China)
Average price: 52990 rub.
Rating (2022): 4.7
This is HP's cheapest gaming laptop yet has a solid build quality and a decent level of performance that combine to provide excellent value for money. But keep in mind that this budget model comes only with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630, which eats up part of the 8 GB of RAM. But the processor here is very decent - Intel Core i5 9300H, so in general, any game will start at least at medium settings.
Among other features, we note a good level of color reproduction of a 15.6-inch IPS display and the presence of a 256 GB SSD drive. The reviews for this model are mostly positive, praising the combination of features and price of the device, good sound, a sufficient level of performance in games and a large selection of connectors. The key disadvantage of the HP Pavilion 15-dk0083ur is a weak battery, which in gaming mode will provide no more than 3 hours of autonomy.
4 ASUS VivoBook Pro N752VX-GC218T
Country: Taiwan (made in China)
Average price: 52500 rub.
Rating (2022): 4.4
Inexpensive gaming laptop with a classic metal body design, but with a gaming backlit keyboard. On board is a 4-core Intel Core i5 6300HQ processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics card with 4 GB of memory, which is enough to confidently run most games of recent years. In the base, this budget model receives only 4 GB of RAM, but this volume can be increased to 32 GB thanks to the presence of a second expansion slot. Of the drives in the assembly, only a 1 TB HDD was used.
The main trump card of ASUS VivoBook Pro N752VX-GC218T is the largest 17.3-inch IPS display in this price segment with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. This is also noted in reviews, where users also praise the strength of the case, excellent upgrade opportunities, and stylish appearance. At the same time, some problems with ergonomics, heavy weight, poor sound quality of the speakers and noisy hard disk operation are noted as disadvantages.
3 Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52-50MA
Country: Taiwan (made in China)
Average price: 52000 rub.
Rating (2022): 4.4
Budget gaming laptop with a 4-core processor Intel Core i5 8300H, operating at a frequency of 2.3 GHz. The manufacturer sent a discrete graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 to the company, which received 4 GB of its own memory, which will allow you to safely run most modern games almost at maximum speed. The assembly also contains 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, plus there is a second slot for expansion. For data storage, a 256 GB SSD is provided. As befits a gaming device, the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52-50MA case is complemented by a stylish backlit keyboard.
As for the display, a standard 15.6-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels is used here. In the reviews, users praise this model for good hardware overclocking capabilities, high build quality and an acceptable level of performance. Among the shortcomings, complaints about the efficiency of the processor cooling system most often pop up.
2 ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DD-AL103
Country: Taiwan (made in China)
Average price: 50990 rub.
Rating (2022): 4.7
The TUF Gaming line is familiar to every connoisseur of gaming laptops, and the FX505DD-AL103 model is the cheapest in it. It is based on a bunch of AMD Ryzen 5 3550H CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 discrete graphics card with 3 GB of memory. In addition, the stylish backlit gaming case houses 8GB of DDR4 RAM and a 256GB SSD. Not bad and widescreen IPS-display with a diagonal of 15.6 inches and a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. But more importantly, the screen supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz, with which any game looks smoother and more spectacular.
This inexpensive laptop receives a huge amount of positive feedback and is in high demand in Russian online stores, which is facilitated by both high quality and a good level of performance, as well as the budget status of the gadget. All in all, the FX505DD-AL103 is the best choice for beginner gamers who are just looking at the features and format of gaming laptops.
1 ASUS M570DD-DM151T
Country: Taiwan (made in China)
Average price: 49950 rub.
Rating (2022): 4.6
A compact and affordable gaming laptop built around a 4-core AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor and a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card with 2 GB of its own memory. In addition, I received 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, a 256 GB SSD drive and a good 15.6-inch display with FullHD resolution and excellent color reproduction. It comes pre-installed with Windows 10 in the Home version, plus it has a number of interesting features, including a built-in fingerprint scanner.
In terms of performance, it leaves a good impression, but at a discount to the price, i.e. any top game will run on graphics settings in the medium range. Reviews of this budget gaming laptop highlight the excellent performance of the cooling system under load, high image quality and good sound levels from the built-in speakers, although it is better to play with headphones. The main disadvantage of this model is problems with finding and installing some drivers.
