1. Design
Budget smartphones are not only pretty in appearance, but also light. The devices we have chosen are quite different from each other. For example, Oukitel WP9 is the most brutal. It may seem that this phone is in a shockproof case. In fact, this is not so - the case itself is waterproof and shockproof. But because of this, the device turned out to be too large and heavy. And not everyone will be satisfied with a fairly large cutout at the top of the screen.
Name | Dimensions | The weight |
Infinix HOT 11 | 77.5x171.5x9.2mm | 201 g |
Nokia G20 | 76x164.9x9.2mm | 197 g |
Oukitel WP9 | 76.9x156x19.5mm | 321 g |
POCO X3 Pro | 76.8x165.3x9.4mm | 215 g |
Realme C25S | 75.9x164.5x9.6mm | 209 g |
If we talk about the front camera, now smartphone manufacturers are increasingly embedding it directly into the display. Only the creators of budget models go for simplifications. In our case, a teardrop notch is mainly used. The only exception to the rule is POCO X3 Pro. It is understandable, because this is the most expensive device in this collection.
A fingerprint scanner is now available even in budget devices. In four cases out of five, this structural element is located on the rear panel. And only Nokia G20 and POCO X3 Pro have a fingerprint sensor as part of the side power button. We also note the presence of a notification light indicator - it is present in the same POCO and Oukitel. The latter, by the way, also has a separate SOS button. She hints that the smartphone is intended, among other things, for use by older people.

2. Display
The best screen in these phones is definitely not worth waiting forAbove, we mentioned the presence of a notification LED in several devices. It immediately makes it clear that the devices screen does not provide the Always On Display function. This means that he is not able to display this or that information in a constant mode. Indeed, all five models received a standard LCD panel created using IPS technology. Such a screen has a separate backlit layer, and therefore you should not count on any high energy efficiency.
Name | Display type | Diagonal | Permission | Frequency |
Infinix HOT 11 | IPS | 6.82 inches | 1640x720 dots | 90 Hz |
Nokia G20 | IPS | 6.5 inches | 1600x720 dots | 60 Hz |
Oukitel WP9 | IPS | 5.86 inches | 1520x720 dots | 60 Hz |
POCO X3 Pro | IPS | 6.67 inches | 2400x1080 dots | 120 Hz |
Realme C25S | IPS | 6.5 inches | 1600x720 dots | 60 Hz |
The smallest display is part of Oukitel - the most massive smartphone. To be honest, he's not particularly interesting. However, these words can be said in relation to two more screens. If we talk about the most inexpensive models, then only Infinix stands out slightly. The refresh rate of its display has been increased to 90Hz. This is noticeable when navigating through different applications, but games tend to use a smaller setting.
Xiaomi's POCO-branded product wins the screen comparison.Yes, it also uses an IPS panel. But on the other hand, it boasts a higher resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate!
3. Components
All smartphones are based on a particular processor, and also have a certain amount of memory.Theoretically, POCO X3 Pro is ready to update the picture in games up to 120 times per second. But is this observed in practice? Fortunately, the device is really not limited to a much more modest setting, especially if you lower the graphics level slightly. Thanks to the powerful Snapdragon 860 processor. The clock speed of its main core reaches 2.96 GHz! Close to it is only Helio G37, hiding under the Infinix case - all its cores work at a frequency of 2.5 GHz. Competitors use even weaker chips. However, with an HD screen resolution, more is not needed.
Name | CPU | graphics accelerator | RAM | ROM | microSD |
Infinix HOT 11 | Helio G37 | PowerVR GE8320 | 4 GB | 128 GB | + |
Nokia G20 | Helio G35 | PowerVR GE8320 | 4 GB | 128 GB | + |
Oukitel WP9 | Helio P70 | Mali-G72 MP3 | 6 GB | 128 GB | + |
POCO X3 Pro | Snapdragon 860 | Adreno 640 | 6 GB | 128 GB | + |
Realme C25S | Helio G85 | Mali-G52 MC2 | 4 GB | 64 GB | + |
Almost all smartphones received 128 GB of internal storage. This allows many buyers not to think about installing a memory card. It is worth noting that all five devices have a slot for it, but not everywhere it is separate (in this regard, Realme and Nokia outperform their competitors). If we talk about RAM, then most budget smartphones get only 4 GB. It's sad, because with this parameter you shouldn't expect any decent performance.Fortunately, there are exceptions to the rule. For example, Oukitel and POCO received 6 GB.
4. Interfaces
Wireless communication standards and connectors are no less importantNow smartphone manufacturers are increasingly abandoning the 3.5 mm jack. Fortunately, this applies mainly to the creators of the flagship models. If we talk about budget, then in the case of them there is a more rosy situation. In particular, all five devices we have chosen are endowed with the corresponding audio connector! This allows you to connect wired headphones without using an adapter. Also on the case there was a place for a modern USB Type-C port. The only exception to the rule is the Infinix, with its obsolete micro-USB, for which it receives a lower rating from us.
Name | Connectors | WiFi | Bluetooth | IR port | NFC |
Infinix HOT 11 | 3.5 mm micro USB | 802.11ac | 5.0 | - | - |
Nokia G20 | 3.5mm USB-C | 802.11n | 5.0 | - | + |
Oukitel WP9 | 3.5mm USB-C | 802.11ac | 4.2 | - | + |
POCO X3 Pro | 3.5mm USB-C | 802.11ac | 5.0 | + | + |
Realme C25S | 3.5mm USB-C | 802.11ac | 5.0 | - | + |
I am glad that now even budget models can boast an abundance of wireless modules. For example, four out of five smartphones received support for the fifth version of the “blue tooth”. Only the waterproof Oukitel does not do the best job of synchronizing the wireless headset, forcing it to consume energy in an increased amount. Also, almost all devices have an NFC chip, thanks to which contactless payment is implemented. Only Infinix does not have it. As for Wi-Fi, the slowest module is built into the Nokia G20.

5. cameras
Usually inexpensive phones are not ready to boast of impressive photo and video quality. If you need a good camera, then it is better to put aside not 20 thousand rubles for buying a smartphone, but much more. However, someone will be satisfied with the modules built into the devices we have chosen. Importantly, all devices received at least three lenses. But often matrices with a very low resolution are hidden under auxiliary optics. The exception to the rule are the Nokia G20 and POCO. By the way, Infinix shoots better than others in the dark, since its main module has an aperture of f / 1.6.
If we talk about shooting indoors and during daylight hours, then it is almost impossible to give your preference to any of the models. Especially if you're only going to take photos. You can only name an outsider, which is Oukitel. If you are actively involved in video shooting, then we advise you to look towards Realme. He writes video in Full HD resolution at 60 frames / s. And Xiaomi POCO X3 Pro is capable of 4K video shooting! Also, this device has a more advanced front camera.

6. Battery
Evaluate charging speed and battery lifeLet's go back to the processor for a moment. The Snapdragon 860 is built into the POCO, built using a 7nm process technology. This means that it consumes less power than its counterparts from MediaTek. Considering that all five smartphones received an IPS display, this is an important factor. But let's not forget that Qualcomm's chip has to work a little harder, because it needs to display a picture in Full HD + resolution.
Name | Battery | Charging power |
Infinix HOT 11 | 6000 mAh | 18 W |
Nokia G20 | 5050 mAh | 10 W |
Oukitel WP9 | 8000 mAh | 18 W |
POCO X3 Pro | 5160 mAh | 33 W |
Realme C25S | 6000 mAh | 18 W |
However, we are still interested in the battery. Unfortunately, POCO is an outsider in this regard. The capacity of its battery is a little more than the standard 5000 mAh. That is why the advantage of a more energy efficient chipset is negated. Even more often, only the Nokia G20 will require a network adapter.
Typically, smartphones with a shock-resistant case get the most powerful battery. This is due to the fact that there is much more free space inside them. So in our case, Oukitel WP9 can boast of the most capacious battery. Here this parameter reaches 8000 mAh! I am glad that charging is carried out using an 18-watt AC adapter, so the process will not take much time. One of the competitors offers only a 10-watt power supply at all, in connection with which we gave it a very modest score.

7. Functions
What can our selected smartphones do?If you're looking to get a bare Android device, we recommend taking a look at the Nokia G20.However, the advantage of this version of the operating system is only that it works better on a device with a small amount of RAM. However, this device is distinguished not only by the firmware. He received two microphones, thanks to which the interlocutors will hear you better. And the device sounds great, for which you should thank the OZO Audio system. In this regard, only the significantly more expensive POCO can compete with it.
The firmware used by Xiaomi does not suit many buyers due to the presence of advertising. That is why we give a higher rating to the Realme smartphone. It has additional features and a nice interface to use. At the same time, it cannot be said that there are serious claims to performance.
8. Price
The average price tag of the devices we have chosen is relatively smallEspecially for this comparison, we chose budget models. This means that you will need 16-19 thousand rubles to buy them. However, it is pointless to name the exact figure now, since we live in a difficult time for Russia, when the dollar can soar by any amount. It should be noted that Oukitel will in any case remain one of the cheapest smartphones with a waterproof and shockproof body.
Name | average price |
Infinix HOT 11 | 17 500 rub. |
Nokia G20 | 16 800 rub. |
Oukitel WP9 | 19 000 rub. |
POCO X3 Pro | 29 000 rub. |
Realme C25S | 18 000 rub. |
The POCO X3 Pro is more expensive than the rest. Xiaomi is no longer shy about asking for big money. It is clear that such a device will offer you a better display, higher performance, and the ability to shoot video in 4K resolution. But is it worth the hefty price tag? We think so, but the final decision is up to you.

9. Comparison results
Who becomes the winner? When choosing a product for our material, we had no doubts about which device would receive the best rating in the largest number of nominations. Of course, POCO is superior in many ways to its competitors, because its manufacturer did not need to save much. This smartphone is the only one capable of shooting 4K video. And since it is endowed with a powerful processor, even gamers should like the device. However, not everything is so rosy. In this comparison, we focus on battery life. In this regard, POCO is seen as almost an outsider. But his battery charges quickly!
If you consider battery capacity to be the most important parameter, then we advise you to look towards Oukitel. There is a chance that you will charge it only once every two days. But for this you will have to pay twice as much thickness. And the charging process itself will not be as short as we would like. That is why we recommend considering Realme as well. And don't let the smaller battery capacity fool you - the smartphone fascinates with its other characteristics.
