Professional photography is a very vague concept. Sports reportage, wedding reportage, landscape and architectural photography, macro photography, microphotography, special high-speed photography, wildlife photography (including camera traps and drones), interior photography, advertising still life. As well as aerial photography, astrophotography and space photography This, by the way, is all professional photography in its purest form. All this requires its own tools, special lenses, and in some places special devices. For example, medium format and cardan with sheet film. Now tell me, how many types of shooting from those indicated with decent quality are able to master the above devices? Probably a little. That is, instead of the stupid template stamp "professional cameras", it would be worthwhile to indicate the more correct characteristic "full-frame professional general-purpose cameras".
And now tell me why there are no Fujifilms and Pentaxes among the devices of this class? The latter are presented, by the way, in three segments - APS, FF, and medium format, which does not sin any of the brands indicated by the author.
Next: take the FF specified by the author. In particular - Pentax, which is more familiar to me.The company that, among other things, created autofocus, pentaprism and was in the top four in the film era: Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Minolta (now Sony). After the failure, it made up its position in the digital segment and again offers innovative solutions - a movable matrix, heavy-duty noise suppressors, lenses that are unique in design, dust and moisture-proof devices. With excellent contrast focus across the screen. And the movable display has no equal in design. Yes, there is some lag in phase autofocus, but even that is more than worthy. Pentax deservedly settled in the top lines of the DxO rating. But in articles like this one, Pentaxes are hushed up, and in the store I myself witnessed how the consultant persuaded the buyer to take Nikon or Canon instead of Pentax. When I asked why, he didn't say anything. It's just that these two systems were more familiar to him personally. Arguments were like: "Well, it's Nikon !!!"

Sorry, I did not carefully read the text and wrote the previous comment. We are talking about mirrorless devices FF. But then the appearance of medium format FUJI here would be justified. After all, a professional camera.
